Lana Vali

Philanthropy Senior Associate

Lana Vali is a Philanthropy Senior Associate at Energy Innovation, where she helps create and implement strategies to achieve the climate and energy philanthropy goals of the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining EI, Lana worked as a Program Coordinator at Malama Kaua’i, a nonprofit dedicated to sustainability in Kaua’i, Hawai’i. In this role, she supervised program leaders whose work focused on supporting food access, assisting local farmers, and engaging youth in sustainable agriculture education. Lana was also involved in all levels of grant proposals and management, as well as program analysis, including impact data auditing and reporting.

Lana holds a B.A. degree in mathematics from Amherst College. During her undergraduate career, she worked at the Amherst College Office of Environmental Sustainability, coordinating events, social media engagement, and marketing activities. Lana planned, hosted, and garnered funding for the office’s 2017 capstone event, “Stand Together, Fight Back!,” a two-day event featuring environmental justice scholar Dr. Dorceta E. Taylor.
