Claire is a Senior Modeling Analyst at Energy Innovation, focused on the firm’s Modeling and Analysis Program. She provides research and data analysis to support EI’s climate policy modeling, specifically related to the Energy Policy Simulator.
Prior to joining Energy Innovation, Claire worked as a Climate Change and Sustainability Analyst at ICF, a global consulting firm. Her work focused on greenhouse gas accounting and climate planning for a range of clients, including federal agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and many state and local governments. In this role, she also provided climate risk analyses and conducted vulnerability assessments for electric utilities, state governments, and other private sector clients. Claire has experience working in local government on climate action and energy planning through her year of service in AmeriCorps in Clackamas County, Oregon.
Claire holds a B.S. in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Virginia. During her studies, she conducted research published in Nature Energy on including weather risks in energy system modeling.
